Robusta Green Coffee Collection

Madagascar Coffee Company (MCC) offers a new perspective on Robusta green coffee beans—traceable, farmer-direct, and grown in the lush rainforests and fertile lands of Madagascar’s southeast. Our specialty Robusta coffees are carefully harvested and processed to highlight the complexity and sweetness that Robusta can deliver when grown under shade and managed with care.

We source directly from smallholder farmers, ensuring quality, transparency, and sustainability at every step. Whether you’re blending for body, exploring high-end espresso profiles, or seeking unique single-origin Robustas, our collection offers both reliability and distinction.

  • Hazo Ala

HAZOALA (Ancient Forest) is our natural-processed robusta: bold, wild, and expressive. Grown in the forested low- to mid-elevation regions of Madagascar, HAZOALA is dried in the sun with its
cherry intact, producing a rich, full-bodied cup with layered fruitiness and a hint of funk.

  • Sahaza

Meaning “just right” in Malagasy, SAHAZA delivers what we love about robusta—powerful body and deep flavor—with a clean, polished finish. Our semi-washed process removes the fruit before drying, giving the cup a more refined profile while retaining richness and depth. This is a versatile robusta for quality-focused roasters and brands.

  • Vintana

VINTANA means “destiny” or “chance” in Malagasy—a fitting name for a washed robusta this rare and distinctive. Meticulously processed and sorted, VINTANA offers a surprisingly elegant cup with notes of chocolate, spice, and cocoa. It’s proof that robusta can be refined, clean, and commanding.
