84–87 point Arabicas. Regenerative agroforestry. Traceable supply built from Madagascar to your cup.

THIS WORKS because THE COFFEE IS WORTH IT.

Social and environmental values do not make average coffee exceptional.

The coffee has to earn its place in the cup.

Over the past two harvests, MCC’s Madagascar Arabicas have scored 84–87 points on the SCA scale, with distinctive sweetness and profiles that experienced specialty buyers have called outstanding.

The potential is already in the cup. Seed-to-Cup is building the farms, processing, traceability and market connections needed to make more of it possible.

Here's what the experts had to say:

It is rare to try coffees that are true standouts. Suffice it to say, all three of the coffees you sent were outstanding.” — Takeru Nishi, This Side Up

Very good cup quality with unique characteristics and memorable sweetness. Very high potential here, specialty buyers will take notice.”— Chris Kornman, Director of Education, Royal Coffee

Saying there is potential here is an understatement.” — Dan Shafer, Director of QC, Crop to Cup

FARMERS SHOULDN'T HAVE TO TAKE THE FIRST RISK.

Building coffee supply takes years.

Farmers are often asked to plant trees, improve soils, invest in processing and wait for production—without knowing what their coffee will be worth or whether a buyer will be there.

The poorest participant in the supply chain is asked to invest first.

SEED TO CUP CHANGES THE ORDER.

  • Customers commit first.

  • MCC invests next.

  • Farmers build with a clearer path to market.

COMMITTED DEMAND. A SHARED JOURNEY.

A farmer and a coffee tree

THE POTENTIAL ISN'T BROKEN. THE SYSTEM IS.

Madagascar retains coffee trees, experienced farmers, remarkable growing environments and generations of coffee knowledge.

But aging trees, limited replanting, inconsistent processing and fragmented markets have constrained the sector.

MCC is rebuilding the connections between:

Seedlings → Farms → Farmers → Processing → Quality → Traceability → Markets

MODEL FARM = PROOF. OUTGROWERS = IMPACT + SCALE.

MCC has secured more than 100 hectares for model-farm development.

The model farm gives us a place to demonstrate improved planting material, agroforestry, agronomy, harvesting, processing and quality systems at commercial scale.

Surrounding outgrower farmers can then adapt what works on their own land—with seedlings, technical support, processing, traceability and access to market.

The model farm proves the system.

Outgrowers allow it to spread.

CHOOSE HOW YOU WANT TO JOIN.

A COFFEE TREE IS ONLY THE BEGINNING. INCOME IS THE OUTCOME.

Our goal isn't simply to distribute seedlings.

MCC is building a system designed to turn coffee into a long-term productive asset for farming families—combining improved planting material, continued technical support, processing, quality, traceability and dependable market access.

  • More productive trees.
  • Better coffee.
  • Stronger markets.
  • Higher rural incomes.
150 coffee trees per outgrower

OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE EVERY HECTARE OF COFFEE MORE ALIVE THAN WE FOUND IT.

Madagascar's coffee future should create productive landscapes that work for both farmers and the environment.

MCC is developing diversified coffee agroforestry systems where coffee grows alongside shade trees, fruit trees and useful native species.

The objective is productive restoration: land that generates income while building soil, increasing tree cover, improving resilience and creating habitat.

Productive land should also be living land.

Agroforestry

THIS IS ALREADY STARTING.

MCC is entering its third specialty coffee harvest season.

We already have:

  • 100+ hectares secured for model-farm development
  • 8,000+ seedlings on site
  • Early outgrower farmers identified
  • Coffee processing and dry-milling infrastructure
  • Specialty customers in the United States, Europe and Japan

Seed to Cup does not start the journey.

IT HELPS US MOVE FASTER.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU BACK THE CAMPAIGN?

IF WE REACH $150,000

We move into the next phase of model-farm development, outgrower establishment, nursery production and farmer training.

IF WE DON'T REACH THE TARGET

If the campaign closes below the full $150,000 target, MCC will evaluate the commitments received and determine what can responsibly be delivered.

MCC will share a revised implementation and fulfillment plan—including any material changes to scope, timing or rewards—with backers before proceeding. Each backer will then be asked to confirm whether they wish to continue.

After the confirmation period, MCC will announce whether the revised plan will proceed.

Backers who do not confirm, or whose participation is canceled because MCC does not proceed, will not be charged or will receive a refund, as applicable.

IF WE GO BEYOND $150,000

We accelerate.

More land. More farmers. More trees. More future Madagascar coffee.

BE ABLE TO SAY YOU WERE THERE AT THE BEGINNING of the revival.

Madagascar coffee has existed for generations. What we're building now is the quality and ethics for the future.
